As a young boy, I, Pastor Mike Madger, felt an indescribable connection to the Holy Spirit that grew stronger with each passing day. It was during my formative years, at the tender age of 9 in 1994, that my faith was solidified as I wholeheartedly embraced my relationship with Jesus. Little did I know that the journey ahead would test my devotion in unimaginable ways.

As I journeyed into my teenage years, doubts and skepticism began to cloud my path. I found myself standing at a crossroads, torn between the allure of worldly desires and the unwavering commitment I had made to my faith. It was during this fragile period that I succumbed to the temptations that surrounded me, seeking validation through bodybuilding and pornography. Regrettably, these destructive paths led me further away from my spiritual calling, causing a disconnect between my soul and Jesus' calling.

However, it was at the age of 21 when the winds of change swept through my life—change that would shake me to my very core. In a profound moment of divine intervention, I was reminded of the purpose God had uniquely entrusted to me. With unwavering determination and an unwavering faith, I broke free from the chains of self-worship and dedicated my life to fulfilling God's divine calling.

This pivotal moment ignited a burning passion within me to confront the prevalent issues of immaturity, disconnectedness, and feelings of disqualification permeating myself and those feeling the same way within the Body of Christ. Additionally, I recognized the importance of addressing the pervasive struggle with pornography, a stronghold that I too had experienced firsthand. Guided solely by the voice of the Holy Spirit, my wife, Amber, and I embarked on a mission to create an online platform—a haven, if you will—where believers could find solace, support, and empowerment, enabling them to live their lives authentically in the image of Jesus Christ.

With Life In His Image Ministries as our megaphone, Amber and I established a safe and nurturing environment for both men and women, where transformative podcasts, life-changing sermons, and timely teachings lay the foundation for individuals to rediscover and reflect Christ's divine design in their lives.

Our primary objective through this ministry is to facilitate a deeper connection with God, fostering spiritual growth within the hearts of Jesus Followers. It is our profound hope that every individual who engages with our material will be equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to authentically live out their faith, mirroring the image of Jesus Christ in heart, mind, and word. Through my own personal journey, I have gained a uniquely powerful perspective—one born out of trials, redemption, and an unwavering desire to assist others in finding their own healing, restoration, and renewed sense of purpose in Christ.
